is produced with at least 80% Sangiovese (but it can rise to 100%), 20% Canaiolo and Colorino or Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are authorized.
The best grapes are selected during the harvest to be then transferred into casks of chestnut or oak where alcoholic fermentation begins.
The wine matures in the wood for more or less prolonged period, depending on the size of the casks.
There is then a further time of 3 months into the bottle.
For this reason the bottle should be opened few hours before drinking

Serving notes: 16-18% C
Food matching: red meat cooked on the grill, roast and stewed wild board. It is also ideal a wine for meditation
